At what point in the conversation of messages do you tell the person you arent interested ?

Ive tried the delete and block if no attraction straight away, but after a few face to face social conversations ive kept been told im hard work and abrupt. Given this i decided that today i was going be all out sweetness and light and if i got a message but didnt see any attraction i would reply, although not straight away with a no thanks....great but now im trapped in a vanilla conversation about the weather etc how do i get off this roundabout?

And is been overly polite as wrong as abrupt and hard work ?!

The right place

If you’ve got trapped in a cordial conversation the other person might be thinking the same thing too. Try saying something provocative or playful and see if it moves on. If not, just say it’s not working out and stop messaging.

Under the Duvet

If I'm not interested I don't chat.

Not got the time or the inclination.

If I'm chatting it's because I think there's potential.
