about yourself?
A few years ago I had been seeing a new boyfriend for around a year when I heard from a friend that a mum from the school had told her that he had been perfectly happily married with a small child prior to me stealing him away 
The guy had never been married, nor had any children. I met him from here and we didn't even live in the same area, so it was unlikely she could have even known him. 
What have you heard about yourself that isn't true? |

When I was 14 I got called all sorts of names as someone had spread around I was pregnant. I suppose that will teach me for wearing dungarees and thinking I was cool!  |

There are quite a few about me locally... None of them nice and all from a single source, I now just avoid people connected to that person. 
Having said that, the best rumour I heard about myself was not from that source and it was that I had fucked the wife of someone from the village...
.. Which was totally untrue, I'd fucked the guy, she watched.. |

I once worked with a woman who made up such fantastic (in the true meaning of the word) lies about me that a disciplinary procedure was started against me. Of course since none of it was true the people she claimed to have been witnesses were shocked and horrified when interviewed.
She had asked me to help her with something, I'd showed her how to do it correctly and this had enraged her to the point that she felt able to accuse me of terrible racism. |

There was a rumour that a local funeral director and I had had an affair, a lot of gossip was had about it. It wasn't us though, it was my husband and his wife xxx |

Two guys I worked with ( one a Walter Mitty and thea other a sex obsessed lerch ) spread rumours I was sleeping with almost every woman where we worked. I was married to my ex then and used to tell her every time a rumour reached me, foolishly thinking being upfront was the best policy. She always reassured me she didn't believe the rumours and I eventually avoided talking to all female collegues and even old friends. I grew up surrounded by women and always felt at ease and enjoyed talking with them, so in hindsight I became very isolated as I stopped socialising except in my ex's presence.
After we separated I was told by two people, that my ex and her sisters were saying I was having affairs all along. It's difficult to know what's the right thing to do when lies circulate about you ???....I still don't know  |

My ex husband told his family and our friends I had cheated on him and taken all his money leaving him destitute.
Yes I cheated, no I didn't take his money, he didn't work, refused to get a job and I supported him financially for 26 years.

I know for a fact - because a number of women message every hot young guy I meet to tell them so - that I’ll sleep with ‘anyone and everyone ‘ - and that if you display a veri from me then no self respecting single woman would meet you!
So be warned guys!!

That's the road I've taken. People who know me well, know the truth. I used to think in general that the truth eventually outs, but I've come to believe that's not always the case, so no point dwelling on it. |

I was called in to see the Commanding Officer as an accusation had been leveled at me by a work colleague, who was having an affair, that I had slept with another woman who worked in our office after a night out. At first I couldn't remember the night out but after telling my wife that night she checked her diary for the night in question.
Next morning I went and told the CO that it was true I had slept with somebody that night. His face fell in horror until I told him it was two other guys, we had slept in the office on camp beds and they would be happy to confirm the fact. |

Prefer the wait and prove ppl wrong with real life actions and then watch the said spanners either make up more reasons as to why their predictions on a situation they know nothing about haven't come true, or see them ignore me/us and go silent knowing we know what they said....
On here, especially in the forums there are plenty of muppets who'll say anything to protect their own status. So in my book fab status means next to nothing. All that alpha shit and who wants to rate my left arse cheek and it'll be in your box in five minutes... People can tell a good'un from an attention seeking bad'un even if they pretend not to for a little online peace....
Still happier than ever, and laughing harder at that shit, innit

I only know of one rumour about me, started by my so called best friend out of jealousy, and it destroyed my relationship with my first love. Unconsciously it impacted every relationship subsequently too. |
