We've been sleeping on futon rolls for many years and we are at the point we need to replace them. We now want to get a bed so that we have something so that we can tie each other to when we're feeling that bit extra naughty, and also have something that gives us a few extra choices of positions. Also looking at super king size now so that in a few years when the kids are not about we can accommodate others at home!
We've been looking at some really nice hand made beds from the Natural Bed Company in Sheffield and looked at these in their showroom, these are are really nice beds but also quite expensive, we wondered what do you all sleep on? We want something a step up from Ikea quality and something that is perhaps extra useful for kinky fun, we did look at some bondage beds and they were not very subtle and several thousand pounds too! |

Beds unfortunately nowadays are very expensive and mattresses can be even more.
Mine is a kingsize with cast iron frame, ideal for tieing people to and also doesn't squeak or rock.
However, it is only a slatted frame base and if you put too much weight on it then there is a risk of breaking a slat so if you want to be able to accommodate lots of people then a solid base is less risky.
Mattresses are a very personal choice in terms of hardness. |

I have gone for comfort and stability over kink when it comes to beds. Mine is a strong divan base with a Otty mattress. However I have underbed restraints that go under the mattress so not all is lost. |
