I’m only happy when it raiiiiiins!

Absolutely pissing it down in West Yorkshire. But the sound of the rain harshly pelting glass and the wind buffeting against the windows is one of my favourite things. It’s just a shame the torrential rain comes for 5 minutes then disappears.

Anyone else love grey dreary days and walks in the rain?

Oh yes they help me sleep too. There are city soudscapes on youtube which help me sleep too. I used perform a lot of (a word I can’t type but basically putting someone in a trance state) quite regularly and those kind of background noises help amazingly!

I love it! I love how walking in the rain ignites the senses, the feel of it, the sound the smell as well as the look, there is something very primal.

I also love watching it.

There should be a thread for best memories in the rain. Seems like quite a few pluviophiles here.

My best memory was walking around Midtown Manhattan in NYC in an absolute deluge while the sun was setting. It was like a moment out of a movie.
