So having seen a thread recently about 'watersports' and opening it thinking there was a swinging surf community I was horrified to realise I'd been advertising myself as a watersports person... if your into that then fair enough but I couldn't think of anything that's a bigger turn off personally! Is there any other 'noob' mistakes people have made?

I thought the same thing initially that it's surfing, diving etc. Luckily I have my husband to enlighten me in such matters.
