My 2019 houseplant experiment is flailing.
Lost the maidenhair fern, and two small Boston ferns (large one is ok) and the medinilla magnifica.
Other plants doing okay.
It’s official, I’m a houseplant killer. |

I have prayer.plants, orchids and peace lilies that all seem to thrive without much maintenance. I drown the prayer plants every so often and sporadically water the orchid and other exotic display I’ve got. They seem to survive well. |

Some of our 420 friendly fellows have the answer. Grow lamps.
Once the preserve of the illicit herb growers, you can now pick them up from legitimate horticultural places quite cheaply. |

I actually get this a little too. I don’t like all plants and I hate those years old weird dusty ones that don’t even look alive. I wanted a happy jungle of health.
I fear I may just forgo this! |
