"Not really, I have to switch it off or it would drive me bananas"
I’ll qualify that a bit more. I do get times when I turn it back on usually triggered by something on here, particularly reminders of what I’d really like to be enjoying from friends. However I have learned to switch it off so it is very much in the background so I can get on with life without a priapism |

"This is the woman's psyche.. They want what they cannot have"
Exactly! Example chocolate - it makes me really ill but because I cant have it, I want it! I have chocolate cravings that have to go unsatisfied! |

Nope, no point in tormenting myself.
If something is off limits I accept it, don't dwell, and tend not to think about it.
I grew up in a household where no meant no, no point in pushing, no point in trying to compromise.
No.
Why?
Coz I said so.

Gotta be honest, could be because I'm tired and had an emosh few days, but when people say stuff like, "Yes, and I won't give up until I get it" (I know that hadn't directly been said) are part of the reason I struggle to trust others.
