So what is it with people reading a message, then I assume not liking the content and unreading it. Why not just say not interested thanks.?!
Sorry for last thread something screwed up. |

"Because then I get ‘aw why not?’ ‘Aw give me a chance’ ‘we can just chat’
and I cba with that. So I just don’t reply "
And I don’t owe anyone a reply.
And with some of the messages I get, it’s better off if I don’t reply. I’ll just roll my eyes and delete/block when appropriate |

Sometimes I unread them so B can read them, sometimes I unread them coz I'm on the shitter and need to wipe my arse but I've not got to the end of the message yet and wiping front to back is more important

If it's couples it's sometimes because one partner reads it, is interested and marks it unread for the other to read later.
It must be frustrating, I try to only do it if I know the sender is off line |

Same here. Although it can be confusing if both of us read & unread it. Then we still don’t know if the other has read it. |

There and to the left a bit |
The mistake you made was to assume OP and you know what that did don't you?
As has been shown there's many reasons people mark a message unread - I often do it myself as a reminder to come back to a message |

I do it if I remember to when I’ve read a message and want to give a considered reply but haven’t got the time to do it immediately. However I often forget to do it, as it’s not a habit yet because I’m not used to having as many messages as I do now. |

We generally unread a message, because only one of us is online.
If it's an interesting message,
it's easier for the other one of us, to locate that message in a sea of read ones.
We normally do a bulk delete once a day
If the other one then reads it, and isnt interested, it goes in the bin. If we both like it. We reply.

We do that
If the other half hasn’t seen it I mark it as unread until Holly has read it and Holly does the same.
We like to reply together but if they are looking to meet despite our profile saying we aren’t meeting it may stay unread or be deleted.
