So the fixtures are out today, how do you feel about your team’s run
Personally I find this year quite refreshing, we aren’t playing arsenal in Nov/ Dec and got it early doors instead and the hammers are earlier in the season, too many times they’ve scuppered us late on. Plus it seems a more even spread of teams rather than like last year, City, Chelsea and Arsenal all in a row with CL in between |

I forgot they went out today!! I'm a united fan and our first two games are rough!! Chelsea at home and wolves away!!
But arsenal, Liverpool and city games are later which is ok.
I'm not holding out much hope this season until I see what we do this summer to be honest. But they've already said we won't have a director of football before the window shuts so we're relying on zippy (my affectionate name for Woodward he reminds me of zippy from rainbow).
My husband had promised to take me to the villa game at old Trafford. We live in Cornwall so it's a mission but he supports the baggies so he promised to take me to the villa game hahaha. |

Looks like a busy August but a good one. Charity Shield against City, then opening the season with a Friday nighter at home against Norwich. super cup v Chelsea, away to Southampton, home against Arsenal and away at Burnley- should be a good opening month for us |

Yes it’s been hard going for you since Ferguson left, but you will get there again. That is a tough opening, I think August is our toughest month City and Arsenal. Let’s see what the summer brings for us both
Haha Zippy love it !
Well united v villa sounds a great fixture and at least you’ll both be cheering for the same side. That is a mission indeed, but make a weekend of it and enjoy

It could be a good opening month, but could also be a double losing cup start. I would say your priority this year is getting your hands on the premier league trophy ! |

Couldn't agree more with your summation SC - apart from August (City/Arsenal) and possibly Feb (City/Chelsea) it's a fairly even spread and the run in (Arsenal game excepted) isn't too bad either.
A lot will of course depend on comings and goings for us through the summer, and how they affect the shape of the team - but if we can get the bulk of our business done early, for a change, then I have no complaints with the fixture list - although wait till Sky get their hands on it and change it around!! |

Personally we are moving in the right direction and our time will come, yes we haven’t won anything in a while but we will
Us not being taken seriously after the last 3-4 seasons only comes from the Arsenal side. But hey I’ve got to live your fan tv, always a great comical watch |

You will find it is what every one thinks, you have got much better but to be taken seriously you have to win things and not be the serial bottlers that you are, glad you watch Arsenal TV as nothing going on with your own fans, comical is thinking there has been a power shift, how does 3 seasons outweigh over 20? |

Yes the transfer window will have an effect, let’s see who we get / loose. Well business has to be done before 10th so not long to wait.
Haha re sky yes the odd game will move from Saturday at 15.00 but as do European fixtures and our domestic cup fixtures alter the schedule, just part of the norm now |

Funny how winning things wasn't important for Mr Wenger when getting 4th place was enough for him
In all seriousness though, while winning a trophy would indeed be the icing on the cake for us, when there are only four to be won, and you have a team as dominant as City taking three of them, the chances are limited. Doesn't take anything away from our rise that we've not won anything, and nope 3-4 seasons doesn't outweigh 20, but the roles have been reversed in that Spurs *are* currently the dominant team and the one in the ascendant, whereas Arsenal are transitioning |

I've been into football since I was about 18 month old!! All my dad's fault hahaha.
It has been tough since Fergie left and I'm not sure Ole is the answer but he's who we have so we gotta try and make it work!! Some decent signings will help shame it looks like we won't be getting bale on loan for the season! We need to sort that defence out smalling is good squad player but Phil Jones is championship at best!!
My husband will the biggest united fan at old Trafford that day I reckon he hates the villa. He sulked for days when they were promoted lol. |

See that is exactly what I hear from every Arsenal fan... serial bottlers, power shift... no one mentions this but you.
As for your fan TV it is comedy gold and why oh why would us Spurs fans wish to have something like that.... it’s individuals out to get their five minutes of fame, full of themselves and well recently just attacking their team. Try getting behind the team and supporting them properly win or lose, I’m sure seeing some of the comments gives them a morale boost - not.
As for the power shift we aren’t the ones saying this the media and your side are. We are just enjoying the football on the pitch and seeing where it takes us ... enjoying the moment

Atsenal fan tv is a disgrace and embarrassment to proper fans. Liverpool fan here happy with our start and our hardest run is October into November but hopefully by then we will be well up to speed and able to put a run together. Struggling to see past city for the title tho but should at least be close with plenty of good footy. Other top two places are really up for grabs |

"What are your predictions for top 4 spurs chick ?"
Has to be City and Liverpool - the other two spots perm anyone from Spurs, Chelsea, Arsenal, United and as an outside bet Wolves who did fantastically last season and if they kick on again may well do even better.
Think a lot will depend on ins/outs and possible managerial changes for the remaining two places. |

On the last two seasons I would agree 3pts for you at the Emirates.
However, this year we play you 4 months earlier and you’re not known lately for having a great start
We shall see how it goes, but may the best tram win |

West Ham cup final at the start of the season, they’ll be smiling all year if they pull it off
Our season depends on in/outs but we’ve been tapping on the door but always fail come March... squad needs strengthening so can do rotation as although a fit team, fatigue definitely played a part this year |

"What are your predictions for top 4 spurs chick ?"
For me it is City, Liverpool and ourselves - all depends on this window
Chelsea - can’t make any changes and I think they will miss Hazard
Arsenal - still going through transition but they have some cracking youngsters coming into the team, play them more and shore up their defence then maybe.
Man U - again still unsettled after Ferguson leaving, another transition tram. They had the magic of Ole when he first came in, can he get that back and build a team, I’m not sure
There is of course Wolves can they build on last year and knock on that door a bit more, we shall have to see.
The end of last season was madness, we lost three games on the trot and unbelievably do did everyone underneath us. I know we are damn lucky to finish where we did any other season and we wouldn’t have.
Let’s see what this year brings |

Being a Chelsea fan, the fixture list this season hasn't really sunk in ( Apart from opener against United ) Losing Hazard and seeing him yesterday was like a kick in the stomach, but we wish him well, he deserves the chance to be the best player in the world. Then comes having no manager, but hearing Frank is coming home is prob the best news us Chelsea fans can hope for. If take too 4 and a good cup run ... Super Cup would be nice ... |

Man City will win the league, 2 from 3 of the promoted teams will go back down and the entitled Man U fans from around the UK and beyond will utter stuff about where they belong.
That's it, 9 months in a nutshell.
Meanwhile, in the Championship, anything can happen and probably will. |

"Man City will win the league, 2 from 3 of the promoted teams will go back down and the entitled Man U fans from around the UK and beyond will utter stuff about where they belong.
That's it, 9 months in a nutshell.
Meanwhile, in the Championship, anything can happen and probably will."

"My view on the Premiership season 2019-2020 is this:- Usual top 6...money talks and var kills the game as we know it. The End
VAR is going to be an interesting change to the game and could shake up a lot of results and the table not so predictable "
i think its a terrible thing for the game. |

Why is that ?
For me personally it gets rid of any doubt whether it was a goal or not as the human eye cannot keep up. Some referee mistakes are so costly to a team
In February they ran stats on Liverpool, even though I was annoyed they picked on them and didn’t do it for all premier league teams, that showed with var they would have been 12pts lower than they actually were at that time |

"Away at Liverpool first game. At least they’ve not got Luis Suárez playing from anymore "
That’s true we only have Mo Salah, Sadio Mané and Bobby Firmino now, much easier prospect |

"I split up with one of my girlfriends over football, she said it was all I cared about.
Bit of a shame really because we'd been together for 4 seasons."
I like bringing out orange quarters for you 2mins into sex. |

"Lampard, chelsea manager...too soon or right man for the job?"
I understand them bringing him in, he is a Chelsea lad through and through and will bring the passion and fighting spirit of what it means to play for the club. Still think he’s got a tough time ahead with A still in charge and a transfer ban |

"I am a Cockney Red and our opening fixture is home to Chelsea I don’t look any further ahead until the next game.I am quietly confident that this season we can get top 4"
A true Man U fan then
As for top 4 you have a lot of transition work still to do, let’s see how your transfer window goes |

The transfer window will be very important but I believe the damage was done before last season even started with Jose having a go at just about everybody and everything when he left we were 11 points away from the Champions League to only finish 4 points away tells me with Ole bringing in some harmony we can get top 4. |
