I'm watching The Two Ronnies, an episode from 1971. I love watching things from my easiest years. Nostalgia. Saturday nights in front of the gas fire. We'd probably been as a family shopping in town. I'd be playing with a few plastic knights my dad had grudgingly bought me. Cream cakes from Debenhams food hall The show has dated but it brings back warm memories

I was 9 and in my second year at Boarding School. Although I'm an only child, it was like a big family to me, was just starting to get into some decent Rock music as well

. Not 1971 but on ITV4 The Profesionals and The Sweeney back to back would have been a nice treble if Minder was on with Dennis Waterman and not Gary Webster

The old days were great for TV, probably why we still watch them

I must confess, I’ve been watching ‘The Love Boat’. I know it’s a bit corny and cheesy, but it’s interesting how I’m viewing the show now being an adult and in the 21st century. Also, seeing guest stars from the golden years of Hollywood and spotting present actors when they were much younger. Not to mention the retro hairstyles and fashion!
