Saving my diabetic cat’s life!
Came home from work to find her asleep on her own in the spare room. That NEVER happens, she never normally sleeps in there and never sleeps alone, is always cuddled up with another cat if not on a human lap.
I tested her blood glucose and it was dangerously low, only 1.5mmol. After an initial panic I ran downstairs and grabbed honey. Rubbed it on her gums and kept testing her glucose levels, then rushed her to the vet for an emergency appointment.
Now her blood glucose levels are at a safe stable level and all is well  |
