I've used them to find my phone a couple of times. Saving me many pounds, so they're a damn good thing in my opinion.

The mobile networks have enough data to enable tracking, if you had gone missing. I'm single, so have no partner but do have friends who know what is going on - not all the sexual nitty-gritty, but where I am generally.

Find my phone type security is a reasonable operating system alternative
