I can't say that I do anymore.
When I first joined I did, I used it as a confidence boost after being in a place nobody should end up.
Now I truly believe I have worth I don't seek it. I know I'm important, not to everyone of course, but I am important and I do have worth.
Don't get me wrong I enjoy making people laugh, but I don't need validation

I love the validation of my fellow human, it comforts me, but if I have the validation of someone online I figure we're probably friends and I'll go drinking with them at some point.
Tends to be my experience anyway |

Simple, I don't crave it - of course it's nice to get it when it's offered naturally and unexpectedly, regardless of the location (physical or virtual) but it's not something I have ever set out to seek as such |

My confidence isn't great and fab can be the double edged sword for that. The nice comments do help and the means ones hinder. I have no idea why I care but I do. |

Mostly I crave a bit of peace and the ability to talk shit and giggle on the forums without ppl getting their panties tangled with misinterpretation, insecurity or gossip.....

I don't crave it. It really isn't something I need or particularly want. That said over the years many people who I've respected on here have given me their validation and while I've never sought it of course it's a good feeling. People who you respect returning the compliment can only be a positive thing.

Because I'm human? Acceptance is important to us as a social species.
That said I wouldn't say I crave it, it's just nice to be liked. I don't understand people who deliberately go out of their way to do the opposite, I think those are the people you need to worry about. |
