"Creed aventus "
Great scent but I gone off it since they reformulated it doesn’t last or project like it use to and there’s so many clones of it, I quite like Mancera cedrat boise instead of aventus |

Bleu de Channel is a great summer scent.
It doesn't seem to last that long though so I would get one of the higher concentrated formulas.
Dior Souvage smells great but I think it's over used |

Various ones from penhaligons
Bought a bottle of fragrance du Bois recently, this stuff takes perfume/aftershave to another level.
Both of the above beat the usual brand name stuff you see in almost every shop everywhere.....Gucci, Armani etc |

Definitely if you go for Niche brands the smell is unique and intriguing, rather get asked what I’m wearing than have you got INSERT on everyone is familiar with |

I have just sold a few 1990's aftershaves that I probably should have held on to. Two of my favourites were
By Man - D&G (spicy, leather, fragrant)
Romance - Ralph Lauren (orchard woodland meets herb garden)

Nishane’s Sultan Vetiver is lovely when the weather’s a bit nicer.
In winter my favourite is Lignum Vitae by Beaufort. Closely followed by Cuirs by Carner Barcelona, definitely my most ‘sexy’ scent |

I ( Mrs ) tried Yasmine at penhaligons last week, the lovely lady sprayed lots on me, I felt a million dollars, loved it, smelled amazing, I didn’t want to wash but I regret it really as it’s £188 a bottle And even if I save and buy it I’m not sure I can justify it so I might just pop in every now and then for a fix

No, not a collector, I was just having a clear out so put a few on sale. I knew the D&G was rare but didn't think anything about the Romance. I was a bit surprised when it sold so well - it's discontinued too. It does smell good, soft as anything. Versace black Jeans was my favourite but they are all copies now, if I could buy a few bottles I would but you just can't trust them. |

The best way to get into penhaligons is to start with their scent libraries, you get five 5ml bottles each a different one.
Same with fragrance du Bois, the 100ml bottles are £595 the 15ml bottles are £115, which is still very expensive. But it really is fantastic stuff.
I’ve actually found I prefer buying smaller bottles of aftershave/perfume as it allows you to try out lots of different ones and have different scents. |

I had a girlfriend in my teens who would wear a body lotion she called 'fuzzy peach' when she was feeling horny and only when she was feeling horny! This quickly trained me to be extra attentive when I smelt it on her. It wasn't particularly nice but it still has a profound effect on me to this day! I wish I knew exactly what it was. |

I'm currently digging Taylor of New Bond Street No. 74 (Lime) as a daytime fragrance.
Used to love the men's Salvador Dali aftershave from the late 80s/early 90s - heavy and complex. Don't think I could wear it now.
