Has anyone been on any?
I always travel with family/friends but fancy going off to explore the world a little more on my own.
Just wondered as a woman if my family are right telling me I wouldn’t be safe. |

Are you looking at going travelling or just visiting one county? Either way, I’m sure you’ll be perfectly fine. It’s a great opportunity to meet new people. |

Depending on your travel destination, it can be very safe or very unsafe to travel.
Travelling to Venezuela by yourself is probably a very bad idea. You have to weigh the social and environmental risk and see what you feel comfortable with |

Depends where you're thinking of going & what kind of trip you're looking for I suppose.
I can understand friends & family being concerned (only natural as we all here the stories on the news & it's probably not something they'd consider doing themselves). But if we all put off doing things because of what we hear or other people's concerns, we'd never do anything!
Am sure googling singles holidays & maybe speaking to travel agents would help you decide.
Good luck! |

I vacationed in the UK alone, and I had a great time. I took time to do the things I wanted to do and not be at the mercy of someone else's schedule.
Nervous, a little but it was a new country, new experiences and I would do it again at a moment's notice. |

Depends greatly on where you're going. My last holiday, when on my own, I didn't feel safe at all... |

I've travelled alone all over the UK, Ireland, parts of france, Belgium and the Netherlands for work. Its a thing I've allways done and for me it do get abit lonely at times and I miss my friends.. But after getting back home I look forward to doing it all over again.
I can't help having concerns for women who do it though.. But I guess many of the ladies on this site are more streetwise than me. Just be careful.
