I saw a fabber at the local refuse tip the other day. Instantly recognised her from a very distinctive tattoo plus a few other things. Just smiled to myself and minded my own business. |

This is definitely the best way, seeing fellow fabbers out and about is impossible to avoid but discretion should be automatic |

I was helping out behind the bar at the attic and served this female she kept looking and whispering to her freind I thought I know her so i said i know u she said i do u we went to school toghter and hung around yrs ago x |

I was just thinking about this and came to the forum and wam, its the first topic out. I would love it if there was a secret handshake for fabbers to give each other or a wink. Lol. I am crap at remembering faces, thats the problem. In my job i meet soooo many people i cant remember anything. Would be awesome if someone did recognise me and gave a discreet wink I think.  |

If they come upto like a giggy puppy and say they know you from here and you don't like it just play it cool ask there fab name then when home or around the corner on your phone just block them for been a div with no discretion  |

We’ve had it a few times, or rather Naughty has, someone sent her a message saying that he’s worked out where she works, that was creepy, a bus driver late at night forced her to exit via the front doors so that he could chat her up, that was creepy, and one Halloween someone messaged to say he was a few spaces down in the queue, and again creepy.
I think if people recognise you, they should keep it private, much as Fab is a private thing.
We also have it when we go to parties and clubs, our photo collection used to be very bold and people started assuming they knew us without ever having actually spoken to us. It was all very overwhelming at times.
As with everything to do with swinging, it’s about respect, if people are out in public, respect that, if people are popular on Fab, respect that they are humans too.
