I really need to tidy up the area around my bed! It's beginning to resemble Tracey Emin's famous artwork (minus the drink, drugs and sex paraphernalia obviously). What's next to your bed?

I always think the area around my bed looks like a hamsters nest with tissues, newspapers and crumbs

I’ve tidied, dusted , hoovered. Have to say my bedroom is looking lovely and welcoming.

2 bedside tables with various bits on them (my coffee is residing on Bs side at the mo) and a cushion that's fallen off onto the floor.

That's it.

The coffee table in the living room is an entirely different matter!

Currently numerous stacks of books reaching almost thigh high on an average heighted person. They’re getting migrated to elsewhere in the house, it is a mammoth task - and it’s okay if I keep having a lay down and flick through one, right?

I've recently moved and am still living out of boxes but I have unpacked my books (mainly recipe books) and am now using those as makeshift bedside cabinets either side of my bed.

My bed probably looks a like like yours OP, with the added decoration of crisp packets and the bits of skin I peeled off last night.

Ewww! My untidiness is down to books, magazines, newspapers and notebooks. No former bits of my body or food wrappers as I don't eat in bed
