I've thought about it but there are some men that have contacted me that have been a pleasure to speak to so if I set my fingers to no men I would have missed out.

Plus, I've had couples speak to me the same way and women who are just trying to procure me for their boyfriends

I think every category/gender has its own difficulties and problems when it comes to getting enjoyment from the site, and no-one has it "easier" or "better"

The key is how, as individuals, you manage and deal with those difficulties and problems to make the site work for you - that might mean adopting the right attitude, approach and expectations, or it might be using filters etc or any number of different things

To be fair there are folk like that in the other groups on fab as well. Being treated like I should be grateful to be deigned worthy of a message (that clearly has been sent from someone that hadn't bothered reading my profile) is not uncommon

I've seen things from all sides, I've had (still have) a single male profile and a couples profile and I saw a lot of single female profiles too. I often think that single guys get it easiest in many ways.

Sure the echoing empty void of the inbox can be seen as a bad thing but when someone does message, then you know that the attention or intent is genuine.

For a couple or SF the constant barrage of mindless messages can be rather depressing.
