Pronunciations do you hate it when words are not pronounced property such as Peterborough not Peterbrough lol. Yes Peterborough is in the news lol x

Loughborough... not really a hate but- I had a Australian guy ask me for directions to Loughborough...

he pronounced it like

'Looga-ba-rooga'

I and many of my mates now pronounce it 'looga-ba-rooga'... we do the same with many other places too

Been asked a few times where Beaver Street is when in town and then point to the sign reading Belvoir Street and say "You're on it". Can't blame them though.
