I met a woman for a date and arrived with 12 red red roses. She bust into tears because no guy had even bought her flowers before. She was snot, tears and smeared mascara.... not really what I envisaged. |

I got bough a wine rack from habitat. Think he was telling me something. That rack was never full for very long. |

Someone booking and coming with me to see something i know they wasnt over keen on....then spending the night with them....after knowing them many years.it might not mean much to them or others but least i will always have the memories |

Hubby spending his money; saved to pre-order his xbox one when they came out; on buying me a new tanzanite and diamond engagement ring as a gift for my birthday - it was a big deal, he's a massive gamer so huge sacrifice and tanzanite is my favourite
Now our idea of a romantic gesture is I get home to find out he's already downloaded the newest update for Destiny on to my Xbox for me

A young lady who I loved to the bone used to come in to the shop I worked in. I had got talking to her but there was this nag that I never was able to say what I wanted to say to her. A few months into this I had a dream and the words were given to me to express to her.
"Your beauty and sweetness shine through your face
As you are within so are you without".
When I gave those words to her on a piece of folded up paper I told her to read them later and not now.
When I next saw her she thanked me and said it was really nice what I had written.
I knew she was in a relationship and didn't want to spoil the friendship we had. So I guess it was given to me to express myself to her another way. I'm glad I did. |

I had a friend once, Ill in hospital and in lots of pain. Yet a long way from where I live.
Each night they were there at around 3am I wrote doggeral, crappy poems, and just random musings, just so they had something to read if they couldn't sleep, or when they woke up each day.
Thousands of words, just to help another through the night, or day.
They were a friend once....
But the past is another country.

A fwb wrote me a song, he had wrote the lyrics and music and recorded himself playing it, he played it to me after a steamy night and I cried.
He lives in London now after getting a record deal, becoming very well known on BBC radio London. Just released his first album,super proud of him.
Still see him when he comes home, not the same though. |
