A huge Thank you to those who were part of the D-Day landings. It is a shame that spirit has died out with today’s generation.

Fully echo the gratitude and debt we owe that generation for their service and duty..
Would say that cometh the hour etc, possibly some of the people who lived through the Crimea or the first world War thought similar but as we have seen over the centuries that when it's needed the the younger generations have stepped to the fore..
As an ex serviceman I hope that there will not be any more but having said that the Second World War was necessary to end the scourge of fascism..

Our day at the beach is possible because of their day at the beach. We will never forget them.
I notice a certain Donald Tusk, Jean Claude Junker and Michel Barnier couldn't be bothered to pay their respects to the thousands of young men who gave their lives to liberate Europe. |

Saw a very poignant image today.
It was that of a WW2 soldier with the title 'Imagine if your job description said "Save the world"'
We should all be so very grateful. |
