Help !!!
I think I've 'got feelings' for someone I met in a platonic way and now chat to on a regular basis however I've forgot how to actually date someone lol. It's easy when you 'swing' cos you know you are both after the same thing if you see what I mean but this is different cos I've met him in a purely platonic way. All of a sudden I'm stuck - my emotions are all over the place. I've not had a one on one relationship since my hubby left me over 15 years ago !!!
Helpful information would be gratefully accepted .
Cheers x |

No just chatted and he gives out signals that he is interested or at least I think he does - I havent dated anyone since the late 80s ! I feel very lost. Yes I've met men for fun and games but it was strictly on a fun basis. This just feels so different - tbh I wasnt looking for anything on a more serious footing and for someone to pay me compliments out of the blue has thrown me abit.
Christ I'm like a lost teenage - not that I was ever lost as a teenage originally hehe. |

"Ask him out. It's the only way you'll know for sure."
Exactly this. You say you met in a platonic way maybe that’s how he sees it. You won’t know unless you ask. Ask him if he fancies a drink one night |

"Yeah I know - was just thinking of slipping him my phone number and asking to text me if he is interested ? That way there is no pressure on him and he doesn't have to answer me there and then."
I wouldn't even do that. Speaking the words out loud puts the ball in his court firmly. If you're reading his signals correctly, he'll just say yes. |
