Depends on your own take on the phrase “one hit wonders”
Madness only had 1 number one song (Our House) so would you class them as “one hit wonder”
Me personally if a song is in the top 40, then it’s a hit, this therefore narrows it down. So Chesney Hawkes and A-ha are in my opinion not one hit wonders.

I'm really confused by this comment. One-hit wonders are surely artists who have only had one hit. A hit doesn't necessarily mean a no. 1. A one-hit wonder is surely different from a one-no.-1 wonder is is what you must be referring to.
The Guinness Book of Hit Singles defines a one-hit wonder as an artist who had a no. 1 and no other top 40 singles. I don't entirely agree with that but it's a better definition.
Using the definition of one no. 1, many legendary artists would qualify as one-hit wonders including Elton John and Genesis. That's surely not what anybody means by the term. |

Technically Landscape had other hits - Shake the west awake and Norman Bates but they only made top 100.
