So we had my mums ashes returned this week but she left no direction on where she wants them scattered.
Got me thinking, I want to go in a big firework rocket on the beach back home in Cornwall.
What’s your thoughts if you had to chose?

"Mix with compost and plant a tree?
I have an apple tree that is now giving me fruit that's named for my late brother."
It’s a fantastic idea but I’m worried it what tie me to an a place forever |

Maybe look into planting it somewhere where you could visit rather than it being at home. |

For me it would either be a tree as above or scattered near the beach
We buried my mum's ashes, which is what she would have wanted but sent my grandad off into the wind. |

We scattered my mums ashes over the summit of mt snowdon..so i would like to be scattered there too..
Although it has to be done surreptitiously as i believe its frowned upon |

I want to be put in the sea. Apparently it's the most environmentally-friendly way to go. There is nothing left. It all returns to nature.
This would be after any organ that can be used to help somebody is taken. |

In all honesty, I'm not overly bothered. I've said several times, "when I die, chuck me in a bin and set it on fire". I'm not religious, so nothing like that.
It would be quite nice, now I think of it, if someone is loved took my ashes to the top of a beautiful mountain in Turkey that overlooks the sea and just let me go. I could literally blow away into the wind and ocean in my favourite place.
Yeah, that'd be nice. This please!

I have told my sons that if they didn’t want to pay to inter my ashes then I would happily be scattered over my favourite Cornish coast line, happy to float away on the breeze and end up in the sea |

Friend scattetedd her dads ashes over the side of the Mersey ferry.
A gust of wind blew them back in their faces!
Guess dad got the last laugh! |

When my 1st wife died, she had made no will and we hadn’t discussed anything about where ashes should be scattered.
I decided to split them between 4 locations that meant something special to her, which included the Grand Canyon (permit required).
