How do you spend them, when you’re skint?
It’s our eight year anniversary - think we’ll be having a take away for our dinner to celebrate. May be able to stretch to a cheeky wee lunch date |

To be honest - takeaway, cuddles, film and an early night would be amazing.
Old romantic at heart
But seriously. Don't make it about the money - time together and fun. |

Oh it’s never about the money!
And that pretty much sounds like the day we have planned! With a dog walk or two thrown in as well |

It’s apparently bronze, pottery or salt traditionally for 8yr anniversary, or modern tradition is lace or linen.
Make him a really salty meal?
Or put something lacy on and lie on some bedlinen?

Ooooooh we were in a group chat once and it was ‘saucy sunday’ so C filmed himself on top of me, spelling his name on my naked body with a bottle of tomato ketchup and my wee scenario there reminded me of it
But yes - bath salts!!! |

Me and my partner found out the sex of our baby on our 10th anniversary last year.
Didn’t break the bank and was something I’ll never forget.
Maybe bring something baby related into it? |

Aww!!
We had a scan on our wedding anniversary in Feb - it was scary, our first ever miscarriage was on our wedding day so it was significant!
I’ll have a think |

Perfect time to learn, cook together look up an interesting meal and go to the shop. Chances are you will spend the same amount of money, maybe not time. |

On our 10 year anniversary we had a takeaway as we didn't have much money to go out and had just had our little girl. I think sometimes the cheap and standard nights beat the big ones anyway!
What kind of takeaway are you going to get? |

M&S dinners for a £10 can be good (all depends on the week of course)... main two sides, dessert and a bottle of wine. Plus not much cooking |
