With the impending "porn ban" coming up on July the 15th..how will most of you porn lovers manage to cope without it should you not find a way around the block ie no credit card? |

And if you don't know how to get around it ask your kids. They will know.
And therein lies the futility of the exercise. |

What bothers me most is the £millions that we as taxpayers have already had to pay, to ensure that age restriction technology was implemented for all broadband and mobile internet providers - and now lots more money is being wasted, uselessly.
I'll possibly use vpn or enlist but the concept of private organisations building up ever more detailed pictures of individuals private lives is something that I find abhorrent. It ought to be a major infringement of our right to privacy - especially as we are all adults, going about our lives perfectly legally. |

I don't really know if I could cope ... It's a way of me getting asleep on a night time..
I've pretty much masturbated every night ....
Maybe it would do good. |

It's incredibly easy to get around, so no difference in the end, just sigh at the government wasting money on this pathetic attempt, they know it's bad, that's why they are all exempt from this. |

"Vpn.
The end "
Yup. Agree. But also I actually prefer making porn so any men interested in fucking on camera get in touch. Preferably big dicks on tall fit men. X |

I grew up in a country where porn was illegal. You could be jailed for it. And I'm talking page 3 stuff. There was no internet. By the time I was 12 I had seen some of the bizarre porn imaginable. Making porn an enigma for kids is not the answer.
In my opinion is that we should educate our children and explain to them that porn is not a true representation of sex or relationships.
Our governments attitude to solving problems tends to be very heavy handed, very early last century and tends to create more problems than it solves. |

"Really don't see the problem. We will just have to pass the verification process. It's a good thing that they have brought this in. X"
Not really, all sites will have different companies, meaning different checks needed. Some will self for your details when they are fake. Looking forward to all the claims. |

Puritanism never, ever works. The public will always get what the public wants, wether that would be booze, drugs or sex.
Fighting nature is a waste of time and money. |

I'm more annoyed they shut down retro gaming sites. I'm sure they're old enough to count as abandonware now anyway and can't really see how SEGA and co can benefit.
I like a blast on original Doom every once in a while, for the nostalgia. That is my porn. |

The Tor browser will bypass most restrictions, use a Bridge and Vpn and your safe. your Ipa is practically impossible to find and track, switches locations 100 of times a day when you browsing , and with a Vpn even more so. It's what many use in the Middle East to bypass government restrictions, especially when the Government want to stop all Internet traffic.
And it's Free |

"Why has this one reared up again? The legislation has been kicked into the long grass."
Because people just don't understand.
The threads even called "Porn Ban" when it's not a ban at all.
And as you say, the ideas been kicked into touch anyway.
Over-reactive daftness by a few people who can't grasp the difference between prohibition and process.
