Hello friends,
Lots of kind forum friends have been asking how Pooch is and how is his treatment going.
It's with a heavy heart that I can finally tell you all . Pooch passed away last week . He was so very tired and had fought so hard .
He is now at peace where we to roam a long side me in my heart.
I've been my usual silly self in the forums over the last week as it's been good to just be me for a little bit . My heart is broken and it's been so very hard to write this .
To all my friends, thank you so much for all your kind supportive messages for Pooch over his illness .

Is easy to say, but it will get better.
My heart goes out to you.
I miss my little ones,every second, of every day.
I have their ashes tattooed into me, and carry them in a small pendant.
Maybe that's an idea, a little way down the road.

It really is the worst thing ever when they're gone 
When you're feeling sad and missing him, think back to all the times he made you smile, and he'll make you smile once more.
He'll be by your side forever.

I wish to share the sentiments of all on the thread. It is tough when you lose your companion in such a way but I am sure that Pooch led the very best of lives in the company of a true friend. He will live on in both yours and our hearts. |

Oh darling Taff. That is sad news. Pooch brought you lots of happiness and it was clear to see you were best of friends. I had to give up one of my beloved naughty Patterdales this week and reading this made me sob with loss for the first time.

Pooch will be running around doggy heaven with my collie who died 6 weeks ago. He was my second shadow.
Sorry to hear about your loss. You gave him the best life he could have..... |

I'm so sorry to read about Pooch Taff. It's the very worst part of having beloved animals when you have to let them go, regardless of knowing anything else would be unkind. You must have so many lovely memories of him x |

I have already spoken to you since you lost your special friend. I am still upset and I know you will be sad for a long time and miss him terribly .
It's lovely to know so many people on fab know all about him and your adventures together. May it help to know you are in our thoughts.

So sorry to hear this. I lost mine in February after her being unwell for a few months. I thought I didn't want another one but have just bought a puppy.

Ever heard the saying if you have nothing nice to say 
Its not a animal its a family pet, a companion and a something that has been in Taff's life for many years. |

A dog will protect you with its life and losing one is like losing a family member. Taff and Pooch are well liked and respected on here. It must have been very heard for Taff to even start this thread and then this. I’m shocked by what I have just read  |

As to the idiot above who I am not going to quote so it shows again... when you lose a pet they are part of the family and give so much pleasure and unconditional love.
Just my opinion but there is something wrong with people that don’t like dogs. |

Dogs are just so selflessly devoted to us in a way that no human ever is.
I've lost a couple, having to take them to the vet is much worse than them dying of natural causes at home.
Nothing lasts for ever,..and that includes grief. It won't always feel like this. |

Oh Taff. I’ve only just seen this. How devastating, every single one of my dogs has been like a member of the family - when I was a kid they’ve been like an elder sibling, the older I’ve got they’re more like kids. I’m so sorry to hear you’re grieving and I can’t imagine the hole that Pooch has left in your everyday as well as your heart. May Pooch be running with the hares in the great countryside yonder and awaiting his chance to see you again. My heart is with you. |

So very sorry to hear of your sad news..all our doggy friends are only ever on loan to us, to enjoy there time here with whoever they choose to be with..pooch couldn't have chosen better in you Taff.
