The Greek bit had a flag the features a depiction of the Cypriot island and crossed barley heads.
I imagine the Turkish side have adopted the Turkish flag. |

You can cross the green line now, there's a pedestrian border checkpoint at Ledra Street in Nicosia, and a couple of road checkpoints. But yeah, it's still an illegal occupation, not internationally recognised as a nation, and the reason Turkey will never be allowed to join the EU. I certainly wouldn't use the word "peace" |
