Guys of fab- suit shopping?

Where would you go to for a suit? I haven't bought one for a few years now and Im looking to get a new one for the summer... Yes im getting to that age where my friends are marrying off!

Ive only bought off the shelf before from Debenhams.

Is it better to buy a tailored suit straight away (Moss?) or buy an off the shelf and have it adjusted properly at a tailor?

Ta

Hailsham

The best suit I bought other than tailored was of the shelf from Austin Reed... then they went bust ... no connection as far as I know

Savoy Taylor Guild was good if it's still about. Had a great suit section.

Norfuck! / Lincolnshire

Go and have one made - it’s not that expensive and will be worth every penny

Alternatively- a good quality off the peg!

Depends on money.

Upto £450 I'd suggest Reiss

Upto £1000 Paul Smith or Hugo boss

I’d go browsing for off the peg stuff but you really need to try them on to see which cut suits you.

Take someone with you who can give an objective opinion
