Yeah, seriously... Why is it that in order to get bitches to listen, you have to bribe them with treats? To be fair, it probably goes for the males too. You see it on TV programs, etc, even excellent trainers do it - give treats as a reward for listening, otherwise, they just take no notice.
I personally don't have a dog, but I'd find it so frustrating if I was giving commands and the dog just sat there and ignored me.

I used the have to carry a pack of ham in my pocket.
But they do get better as they get older. Certain breeds are more prone to not listening too.
But they will play you too. Often walking away brings them chasing....the bitch will follow....
