I’m often asked ‘ so how did you find fab and is is what you expected’
It’s a strange place at times... my Fwb wrote the website on the back of my hand with the instructions ‘ Go have some fun’
I enjoy being here, sometimes it’s really good, sometimes not but for me it’s a Mr Benn experience. Every time I press this ere’ fab icon I step into another world beyond my norm and into a ME no one but those here would recognise! When I close the app normality resumes 
What is FAB to you? And how did you find yourself here? |

I’m pretty much the same as you DC.
Although I found it by googling bicurious as I wanted to maybe meet some women. Never ever intended on meeting any men originally. It worked, I met a few lovely women. As for the men, had a few socials but only met 2 I really liked in all that time  |

There was another site .. years ago I was in with my ex husband
It led me here in 2008/9
So on and off until now ... but now I’m on a dating site too as my daughters older and my life can move on to the next chapter so to speak |

I log on and do my thing then log off and not give it a thought.
I like talking to the people I interact with and if it’s something I really enjoy doing then I will chat elsewhere but I only do that with 3/4 people.
I don’t take it too seriously. I never expect anything but have been pleasantly surprised at times. I’ve been shocked at other times though  |

This is my escape from reality.
The small circle of friends who are getting to know the real me accept me without judgement. I'm not expected to be anything other than myself.
There are times when I wonder if I fit in, particularly when the inbox is a bit stagnant, but then I remind myself that the friends I have here value my opinion, my occasional wise words. Some of them even find me attractive!
However I know it isn't reality, so I totally get the Mr Benn experience DC x |

Let me tell you something you already know. The colons ain't all sunshine and rainbows. It's a very dark and nasty place, and I don't care how tough you are, it will shit on you upto your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it.

It's been quite a journey.. I joined many years ago on the recommendation of a kinkster friend. Had a couple of longer term fwbs over the years and gradually life's just changed. I stopped meeting some time ago and found the forums, which have allowed me to make some great friends and just enjoy the social side. I can take it or leave it now...
We met on the forum but our real life is completely non fab. That will always come first so for now I'm here purely for entertainment.

A (non fab) friend of mine is on a paid for dating site & she's finding the whole thing really tough - men seemingly just out for one thing/ghosting etc. She never expected it to be so hard. She genuinely wants a relationship but even dating sites seem to be turning into hook up sites! I hope you're having better luck!  |

I was chatting to someone on another site, she mentioned going to a house party and watching people fuck.
I asked how she found out about the party, she said Fab.
