There and to the left a bit |
Never did understand the adulation for Elvis or Michael Jackson not to the God like status they are afforded anyway - can acknowledge they had talents and do like a couple of their songs but there are far better and more talented artists in my view |

You miserable fuckers! Adele, Ed, Springsteen, Bruno Mars, Radiohead, Beyoncé, Elvis, Jacko , Beatles - all unique talents that have enriched our lives culturally.
Gemini Man, like me you were too young to be influenced by Elvis but I’m sure you can understand the impact he would have had at the time .
Overrated- American Pie, can’t stand it. Wonderful tonight by Clapton, he’s done much better.

Duran Duran
The only decade they could have been successful in was the '80s when any old crap was accepted.
They wouldn't have stood a chance of making it before or since. |

Jess Glynne- awful sounding and overrated.
Ed Sheeran - ok, but over exposure has reduced me to being bored of him.
Miley Cyrus - stick to what you know, a pop star she ain't.
Taylor Swift - uses her songs to bitch about all her exes, when in truth, she's the common denominator in her failed relationships. |

Completely agree with the first three but for a shit pop chart kinda thing I really enjoy Taylor.
Style is a beautifully written song and she’s totally gushing over someone throughput it. |

Adele sounds like Ethel Merman on Mogadon.
Kylie sounds like Adele on helium, and looks like someone's put a high pressure air hose up her arse.
Rhianna sings down her nose and everything she sings sounds the same. To make matters worse, so many new singers are copying her.
Then there is Dido. Just what's the point? It's duller than whalesong.
I can't really name any modern male singers, as they are just so much white noise I have learned to block them out.
Elton John is another nasal singer. With a stupid fucking rug.
For me, there are so many copycats out there, catapulted into the charts on the back of Cowell & Co, that I just cannot abide listening to stuff that's post 2000ish.
Thank fuck I was born in the early seventies and saw some bands with character.

Gotta admit and agree with majority that Oasis are seriously over rated.
One of the reasons that even though I love that vinyl is reclaiming it's rightful place at the top of the music format list I'm saddened the it holds no real value this time.
Bringing me back to my Oasis being over rated statement that how do music stores feel justified to price tag Oasis' "Morning glory" album in exactly the same price bracket as The Who's "Quadrophenia" ???? |

Nobody can say Elvis or The Beatles were overrated.
Oasis certainly were. They grabbed the space left by the distracted Stone Roses.
Sheer overrated were Take That. |

Jess Glynne - her voice grates on me.
David Blunt - whiney noise.
Paul McCartney - half decent songwriter. Shit singer.
Taylor Swift - cheesy, poppy shite.
Kayne West - his first 2 albums were awesome, newer stuff is pooh.
Kate Bush - no.
Pete Doherty - hell no.
More will come to me I'm sure... |

"Sad thing is you know your getting old when your preferred radio station is radio 2 as opposed to radio 1 (sigh) "
I'm stuck between them both. Depends on the DJ and music they play. |

"Good to see that Oasis are getting slated, fucking awful.
I don't think history will be kind to the Beatles either.
Oh the Clash, bog standard pub rock."
the beatles broke up nearly 50 years ago and still sell truck loads of records and merchandise all over the world to this day so to say you dont think history will be kind to the beatles is ridicules they were and still are the biggest band the world has ever seen weather you like them or not |
