Hi folks,
So I have seen quite a few profile with public face pics but where the whole face is blurred out (the face being the focus and filling up majority of the frame). So my questions are:
Since you can’t see the face is there anything other fabbers gain from this? (Maybe a way of seeing someone isn’t a time waster?)
Why not just take a clear face pic and set it to friends only/private like most do?
Oh and a bonus question to throw in; what are your collective experiences of your photos being shared/used in a malicious/privacy invading way?

My pics are in public photos I don’t care who knows I’m here tbh.
apart from filter there’s nothing else wrong with them (maybe  )
In the past I know people have stole my pictures and opened profiles pretending to be me shocking but it happens a lot. I know that’s a risk we all have to take when posting pictures x |

I'm often asked about my silhouette.... People think I must be hiding.
BUT.......
A cock. A wobbly pair of tits. A fat ass. A fanny, someone deep in clunge .... or even as you say .... just a face... a blurred face , say NO more about that person than my silhouette does about me ..

The filters are just fine!! I can imagine it was a guy who opened up the fake account?? It is a risk. I am always worried I will run into someone I know!! |

I wasn’t making an assumption based on the blurred face. More so I am inquisitive if having a public face pic which is blurred is preferable to others rather than having no public face pictures.
You’re silhouette does look familiar! Hope there aren’t hoards of people impersonating you too! |

Its just one more form of anonymity..
Much like those who use the animal filters ..not much point in either in my opinion
If you're going to show your face just do it otherwise don't bother |

I’ve bumped into a few people I know and people that see me that know me have messaged me as well  and they say they are discreet lol |

When we first joined someone had stole our pictures and rather cleverly kept looking at our profile 
Very occasionally we will put up public face pictures but having two little people at home and knowing the human race to be rather lacking in brain cells at times... |

Yep I can imagine with little ones privacy would be the priority. I have found as well some folks get insanely clingy at the thought/after a meet and their common sense seems to go out the window!! It’s why I rarely accommodate. I simply share my face pics after one or two messages. |

Sounds like they are happy to keep the secret! Well if I know anyone who is discreet enough they can by all means message me. Just don’t want my face plastered on some facebook group  |

They could do that even if you sent a pic via message. 
I prefer people with no pics but an obscured face pic on a profile wouldn't bother me. |
