Have you ever wondered what would happen after a Super Villain defeated the hero and took over the world?
Would they get bored sometime later after doing what they want without having to worry about any Superheroes taking them down?
There are a good couple of examples of that shown in movies like Superman 2 and Megamind. |

One of my favourite one off comic mini series is "Wanted" by Mark Millar and CG Jones. It was made into a terrible film that had nothing to do with the story in the comic except the names and broad plot outline.
The background to the story is that Supervillians won against the super heroes and mob like carved up earth's territories and largely gone legitimate so no one knows the world is run by them. Which is another theme, in the story, as is the boredom of two of the leading characters.
