I think life to short to hate things. You done the right thing getting help in. I have always had a cleaner since I had my first house. Days are short enough without filling them with mundane tasks. |

Weekly shopping.
Driving into the car park of my local supermarket make me die a little inside.
Then returning home and putting it all away makes me weep uncontrollably.
I know in the scheme of things it's a simple thing but it wears me down, year after year AAAAHHHHGGGG!!! I'm going to kill someone just thinking about it or at the very least trip someone up at work. |

i fight a losing battle with dust
the flat i live in is above a picture framers and i think the dust rises thru their ceiling
i dust every day and wipe the laminate, yet within an hour or two it starts to appear again
most frustrating for an ocd'er like me |

It does seem like that when you are in love. I used to write letters everyday when I was away from my first wife. When she died I found them all on the bottom of her wardrobe, they brought me comfort and loads of memories |

I've tried Jo but I got sick of them not having things in stock or replacing them. I ended up going to the shops anyway to get the missing stuff. Grrrrrr! |

LOL!
So I'm straight masculine creature that enjoys shopping, washing dishes (but not drying) and keeping the house tidy, fixing/improving bits of it etc
A houseproud mammal! I like to keep my den tidy and clean my fur etc
Any takers? |

Those"mundane" tasks you speak of, earn me a good living, so I resemble that remark!
I hate washing my car, so will happily pay someone proportionately more than I earn to do it for me |

I do not mean to offend. I used to not like the take your brain out jobs at work. My mother always liked housework , she always loved a clean house and the achievement of doing it. She always says was a rest for her mind but would never do the ironing. |

I used to have a cleaner then when she left to do another job i didnt replace her. It wasnt that i didnt like housework i was just lazy. Its usually spick and span. Ironing though, i dont do ironing. I know exactly when i had the iron out and it was september 2008. Every thing just gets put in the tumble dryer, i have an anti crease one, i turn it just on long enough to dry them, then shake, fold and hang up. |

Ohh I love doing the housework, feels great when done and everything is clean, I always do it though as Shaz works longer hours than me.
Ironing is my pet hate and I avoid it whenever possible

Protip: If you have creased clothes in a heap, throw them into the dryer for about 30 minutes. Then hang them up. In a few hours they lose most of their annoying creases. |

Something kind of gross, but it may prove useful to some of you:
I hate using the toilet brush and I also hate poop stains in the toilet bowel even more. Ugh evidence.
So... I have a plan:
Place 4 squares of paper onto 1 side of the bowel, and another 4 squares onto the other side.
Poop away and do the usual necessaries.
Flush.
Your poop is now superbly packaged as it scoots away and you will never need to use the toilet brush *ever again*.
I should get a medal or something (ninja) |
