"There’s a Grope Lane in Shrewsbury. Used to be called Gropecunt Lane.
Sounds like an address for a dogging site.  "
Apparently it’s quite common, although many have changed to Grape Lane. Unsurprisingly it used to signify the area prostitutes hung out. |

These are straight out of the Carry On playbook and were featured in a little known swinging 60s film called Here We Go Round The Mulberry Bush, but there are schools local to us called Letchmore and Bedwell. |
