One of the links from punk to New Romantic wasn't he?
Style over substance kind of stuff.

He re-imaged himself with the Kings Of The Wild Frontier album and then camped it up completely from Stand And Deliver onwards |

More than a couple I think.

I've got a tattoo of his face on my person, I got him to sign it and had the signature tattooed on too. I genuinely feel love for that man |

"80's was crap. A part from Two tone"
Huge Two Tone fan here and whilst I agree there was some crap about (Stock Aitken & Waterman and things like Bros, Curiosity Killed The Cat etc) there was some pretty good stuff apart from Two Tone too - The Jam, The Housemartins, New Order, The Style Council, U2, Echo & The Bunnymen, Beautiful South, Prefab Sprout, The Redskins, The The, ABC, The Smiths (even though I didn't like them at the time and still don't mostly now - but you still have to admire them) to name but a few without even thinking about it |

"I fuckin can't stand culture club"
Like Adam Ant they were ok till they switched the camp-o-meter to high around the time of Kama Chameleon and beyond - Do You Really Wanna Hurt Me and Time (Clock Of The Heart) are two very good songs |

Wouldnt say that 2 No 1's, 7 top ten, 9 top 40 in singles and 1 No 1, 2 top ten and 5 top 40 albums, maybe not a massive artist but better than a one hit wonder |

My cousin is in a band formed in the late 70s. Big in the 80s and still going today. Only met him a few times over the years for family gatherings. Weddings etc. Nice guy. Went off the rails but got back on track.
I was never short of girlfriends as a teenager thanks to us being related.
As to who he is....my lips are sealed. |
