Anybody understand why our Tv is misbehaving?

Brizzle

Since having Virgin services installed we’ve being having issues with an old Panasonic Tv, we’ve even turned the Virgin box off, but it’s made no difference.

Very frequently the Tv switches itself off & goes to a blank screen that says EC/DVD, switching the Tv button on the remote resolves this albeit temporarily.

Anybody know what’s wrong TIA?

Is the input to the tv hdmi? Is there more than one hdmi input on the tv? If so, power off the virgin box and the tv, take plugs out of wall sockets, swap the hdmi lead to another input, wait ten mins, power everything back up.

In all honesty, it probably means the TV is on its way out. X
