I go most years
I find it way more inclusive than Pride
I enjoy the fact it is much more low key and it therefore doesn't attract locals out for a party and a Victorian side show |

I am straight an went with a friend. It was good chilled out and I stayed in th la ville on the guy village.
Front row seats when I had enough. Bar minimal noise in the very early morning and no one really around while going for a cig.
It's very well organised and you do see police not often but about after the pubs have closed.
I would definitely recommend it to anyone who is not keen on pride. |

From the website...I think it sums it up
The Sparkle Weekend, the world's largest annual free-to-attend celebration of gender identity returns for its fourteenth fabulous year. Featuring entertainment from trans and non-binary artists and musicians, food and refreshments, a licensed bar, market vendors, help and advice from support groups and LGBT+ organisations, and deejays playing until 8:30 every evening. Open to the trans and non-binary community, their families, friends, allies, and anyone who believes in trans equality and equal human rights. |

"Less than two weeks to go, so excited
Anyone recommend any pubs and clubs?"
Any / All
If the weather's good, everyone is out on the street and in the park anyway |
