Paper bag over the head always works a treat, don't matter what they look like then..
Anyway, you gotta be careful when stealing someone elses prorile pics..
I made that mistake a few years ago on another site. A friend told me that besides the Crankies, there was someone famous on there..
So i borrowed a few pics, what harm could it do..
If only i had checked the owners name.. Gary Glitter.. worst fucking Christmas ever that year.. |

"Can not believe there are males on here stealing mens photos and using them to trick people into meeting them."
It's quite normal these days. It happens everywhere and it's not gender specific either

The 'lucky' ones come to the forum and brag about 'their' incredible body, cock etc. The 12" cock etc quickly gets found in porn or a site years old, thousands of miles away etc. At least they out themselves and get eliminated from wasting others time on a meet, like the one referred to above, who was going to have a meet today.
I've had quite a few try it on and assume most of us have too. These people may get meets if they used they used their own pics but they have insecurities |

Thing is Sophie this man who hides behind other pictures, what's his end game ? What would he do when he turns up to a meet and say for instance it's a single female he's meeting and she says no cos it's not him. Would he walk away or force himself on her ? It's all hypothetical BUT there is not ties other then fake pictures of him ....... maybe having to verify yourself with driving licence or id or you can't use the site would make it safer at least there is proof who it is then later down the line |

What if some don't have a form of photo ID? Would it be fair to exclude them from the site, due to some fakers? I would imagine most single women would meet in a public setting regardless. Even if it is the guy in the pics, that doesn't equal instant attraction and they could get pushy regardless. That's why fab recommends always meeting in a safe place initially. A genuine face picture does not guaruntee safety.

Ppl have been catfishing for decades, It's evolved more recently since you can reverse Google pics to identify them. Some ppl are emotional catfish though, preying on the vulnerable or damaged, makes me sad
I find painting a huge pink cock on yourself prevents that nasty shit.... |

It raises the question though, should it be up to the site to validate a user, or the individuals who are meeting them? Whilst I agree the site can put protocols in place to validate users (as it has to a degree with pic verification and the wider veri system now), those aren't failsafe and completely foolproof.
Surely it should be incumbent on individual users to take measures to safeguard themselves and be sensible about where they meet and how soon they meet etc. We're all adults and have it within our capability to ensure we are safe as much as possible and should take responsibility for doing so - of course that does not guarantee anything, there will always be the weirdos and those out to deceive, but they will be there regardless of what actions either we as individuals take, or the site.
As for the OP - people of both genders "borrow" pics to either pose as someone they think is better looking than themselves, or the opposite gender completely - I've seen numerous examples in my time here, including one guy who was using pics of a soldier killed in Afghanistan 12 years ago - all you can do is report them to admin, who will take action. I do hope that is what you did in the example you gave? |

I believe in instances where it is merited every possible action is taken - however in this day and age of VPNs and smart devices blocking an IP address is pretty ineffective - all it would take would be using a VPN or getting a mobile on a different network to bypass the block.
Which is one of the reasons why as users we have to be vigilant and report instances when we see them. |

That's why I said about proof of who you are or can't use the site there must be a away that would work that can't be falsified given this day and age |

Impossible to police on a site such as this. Even the expensive dating sites cant stop fakes.
You just have to do what you can to help yourself.
It's the same as keeping yourself safe. |
