Spinoff from my makeup rant. What fashion choices/ stuff in shops do you see that you dislike on others or won't/ can't wear yourself? (not, no one should do this, let's not be too unkind)
I saw a peasant top in store the other day and had a bad teenage flashback. They make me look pregnant.
Makeup... Yes, there's more I could say, I won't. |

Anything from Sports Direct / M&M Direct
Both whom are reporting bumper customer visits / footfall, weekdays at 9:25am - these numbers have significantly spiked in the past week or so apparently ...hmmm |

No, can't help myself lol.
Thick black eyeliner all around the eye as an everyday look. It's coming back in, but on most (white) women it's incredibly harsh and makes your eyes look smaller. Less is more! Brown is a great alternative! You don't need to line the whole eye! Etc. |

I'm sure people judge what I'm wearing. I don't give a toss |

I am ok with people thinking I look like a twat, would rather that than look like a clone of a twat |

For men - clothes that are too baggy and ill fitting,
3/4 length shorts(What's the point!),
Cargo shorts,
flip flops,
short sleeve shirts with a tie, socks and sandals,
Light blue denim jeans,
I could go on for hours ha ha! |

I use fashion as a bouncing off point. So I can see why certain trends exist*, but how do I make it work for me?
* I swear some trends exist to troll the plebs. Like face gloss or graphic under eye liner. I'm sure it's avant garde, but in Tesco it's just fucking ridiculous. |

Orange lipstick makes your teeth look yellow so only use if your teeth are pearly white .. |

"Intentionally ripped clothes. Don't make me come after you with a needle and thread. "
YES!!! so totally with you on this one. If I'd tried to go out in ripped jeans my mum would've gone spare. |

"Skinny jeans on men
With no socks on wearing loafers"
Just spent two days at a show in Bologna- the in look , tight skinny trousers, two inches too short, no socks, loafers or formal shoes. Even middle aged men! Kids can probably get away with it.
Actually, they were joking among themselves that to be ‘Italian ‘ your suit needs to be too small. Will it catch on here? |

I'm starting to come around to men wearing makeup, weirdly. But yesterday I saw a guy just wearing mascara (serving at a makeup counter), or, if he was wearing more, it was masterfully subtle no makeup makeup. (I'm talking about men who present as men here)
It just read "there's something not right here". I think guys wearing makeup need to make it noticeable. |

" Top brand Outdoor gear worn by people who've never strayed further than a few metres away from a carpark!"
I cycle about 120 miles a week in Muddyfox cycling pants from Sports Direct. Reduced from £26 to £18. Good quality, a bargain. Two pairs purchased to add to my extensive collection. Just saying. |

"Cropped tops and legging look awful on me "
I would never dream of inflicting the sight of me in crop top and leggings on the general public . I think it's a look only the very young, gym fit can carry off. |

Even before kids and I was gym fit I didn't wear them.
Nor a bikini when I had the body.
Now I'm old and fat and don't care what others think! |
