Is it just me or do people actually meet people from here who aren't prepared to send a pic ? OH sorry don't have a pic I'm in a professional job , what the hell is a professional job if u can't send a pic because of your job don't come on here   |

Lol, they do meet... one girl's excuse "I only meet people who promise not to leave me a verification - otherwise I don't meet them". I wonder if it was a girl 
I've only ever met someone I had not seen the pic/face/met socially once... and that one time was enough t convince me it was probably the dumbest swinging mistake to make.

its up to members to write they profile as they wish and there are plenty of members so meet who you want and pass by those you dont quite simply really and there is lots to moan aboutyes but why waste time moaning when you could be playing |

People without photos are blocked by my filters, there is no reason why some one cant have a photo hidden and send it once they get chatting to someone. I want to see who im chatting to, freaks me out a bit talking to people if i dont know what they look like even just social pms |

What a very unusual attitude to take! Surely it is up to the individual profile holder whether he/she/they decide to show a photo or not ?
If you don't agree with photoless profiles that is your choice but to tell prople not to come on here unless they have a photo is a tad on the rough side don't you agree ? |

It might be a longshot built solely on fact-less assumptions on my part... but I think its people hedging their bets that and reducing the risk of possible rejection at the first stage if they show their (face) pics... and happy to take the chance if people agree to meet without seeing their face the other party will go "Oh well, not what I'd have gone for, but I'm here now anyway so might as well lay back and think of England".
But like I said, this is mere assumption. |

IMHO i've never really been that hung up about the whole pic thing - after all as many have probably found when meeting in real life - folk can be very 'creative' with their choice of pics! 10 years old, profeesional shoots that they took 11 hours getting ready for with professionals that they'll never look like again - and actually met a couple recently who'd met a guy that had put one up of 'someone else that looked a little like him' - just in case anyone he knew spotted it!
The only sure fire way is via cam - very hard to fake (unless you hire out an actor/actress for the occasion). There's always going to have to be an element of 'trust' involved in decisions of whether to actually meet or not - hence I tend to take more notice of feedback via verifications than anything else.
And if you turn up and they look more Susan Boyle than Susan Sarandon - you're more than justified in saying thanks but no thanks! |

Got talking with a guy on here some time ago who didnt have any pics to start with but said he could attach some to a message, Not a problem that was until i looked at them .... They were of a guy i had previously met as i noticed a birthmark on his bum pics kept messaging him for just long enough to report his profile lol

They can - I think it's more of a 'you can't fake your cam - you can your pic' situation. At the end of the day cam or pic - both could be copied/kept by the reciever, but if you want to see an up to date image of the person/people you're messaging - short of a face to face meet it's kinda the only way! |

We only ever met one couple without seeing face pics first- never again, lesson learnt.
Have had one couple who told us they only send face pics after they have met you, whats the bloody point then!!
