I’ve got a tricky meeting at work next week so naturally I’m considering contact lenses that make me look like a devil or at least someone that would think nothing of reaching across the table and ripping someone’s heart out through their throat.
There are loads around, I also love the cats eyes ones but that would make my cat hate me even more.
Have you ever tried them? Which ones would you like and for what occasion? |

"My natural light blue eyes usually get me what I want..."
My eyes are nearly black but I tried the contacts once that make everything black? So cool but so painful after a few hours. |

I've worn the funky ones when going to Halloween parties a few times.
Only problem is, they're not prescription lenses, and I can't see bugger all!
I didn't d*unkinly fall down the stairs, walk into a glass door or trip over that coffee table.
I genuinely didn't see them |

Cosmetic contact lenses can be very dangerous and it’s actually illegal to supply/sell them unless under the supervision of a registered optometrist or dispensing optician.
I really wouldn’t recommend them, if things go wrong it could cost you your sight! |

Really? What’s the danger?
Putting anything on your eye is a risk I guess, I would hope they’ve done a better job of taking the splinters out than on those wooden coffee stirrers? |

I used to use electric blue ones in my youth when I was working clubs.
My eyes are actually blue but these were shocking blue. They were a pig to put in as they had no rigidity |

Contact lenses come in different sizes and base curves, a lens which is not a good fit has the potential to cause a corneal ulcer.
If you buy cosmetic lenses and they do happen to fit correctly, have you had expert tuition in how to care for them, clean and store them? Have you had tuition in how to insert them and remove them safely? If not you risk infection with things such as acanthamoeba which can cost you your sight. |
