We had some in the toy box at home. They may have been passed down from someone else but we definitely had them. Hated the noise.... |

Going to the dentist and getting a boiled sweet from him for being brave.
A sugar cube for the polio vaccination.
A hearing test that consisted of the doctor sticking his fingers in my ears and shouting “ Can you hear me!”.

In those days, the internet was in black and white. It was only on for 3 hours a day, we used to dress up in our Sunday best. We'd log on to letsbuyit.com and order a gas mask then when we were finished with the computer we'd all stand up and sing the national anthem |
