"Tapeworm
I dread to think what other 'everyday food items' get served in your house "
It was Meli and her pork products that inspired that reply I must admit

"Never been sure what sweetbreads were?
I think it’s glands from the pancreas if I remember
Just googled it, apparently various glands all over the animal, well there you go "
Yes - mainly pancreas and thymus glands. |

"Why have you never eaten an omlette ? Have you had scrambled eggs ?"
Me neither. I don’t like scrambled eggs and can only eat the yolk of an egg. Every year I try the white (tastebuds change) but nope not for me
Do I’ve assumed wrongly or rightly an omelette would just be like solid scrambled egg |

"Never eaten scallops. Mainly because I don't know how to cook them properly. But I'd like to.
Hot pan and fast cook. Minutes.
Cheers! "
Also take off the roe and trim off that chewy joining bit. Cook roe separately if you like. |

"...an omlette. Not even a plain one. Had tacos though for the first time this evening.
What everyday food items have you never munched upon?"
Me neither OP - I don’t like egg and never have done.
Also, never eaten tuna - the thought repulses me for some unbeknownst reason |

Tuna? That's an unusual aversion. Tinned, fresh or both? |

"I’ve never tried Stilton
Not a huge cheese lover, the thought of mouldy cheese... eww
Mmm the mould. Mushrooms are just fungi too ."
Yep I’ve tried them, all different ways not a fan. However, I will dice them finely and put them in food just so long as I don’t recognise it’s a mushroom |

Is that the orange part, Darryl? Often wondered whether that was edible. |

It is. And edible. But detachable and you could just throw it and give it to the cat . |

Both, it’s almost phobic and I have no idea why |
