I've glued my finger...

My favourite and oldest pair of Chucks needed gluing. So, I broke out the trusty Gorilla glue and set about with the repair. Except, I managed to glue my thumb to the sole. Having prised myself off, I now a glue covered thumb and I don't know how to get it off.
I need a life hack!
Please post you gluey thumb (or digits but let skip any American Pie type of scenarios) hacks and whilst you at it, any other life hacks.
What's your favourite hack?

Soak in water
Me and C were going out for dinner one night, as we were walking out the door my key ring broke so he quickly got super glue and put it back together. Except he poured super glue all over my hands, which got stuck together.
Missed our dinner plans  |

Not me but a whatsapp video I was sent of a man getting a huge suction dildo glued to his forehead, It was funny watching his mates trying to remove it and at the end of the video him just sitting there like it was normal to have this thing bobbing around from his head |

This is the one, Im pretty certain that nail varnish remover will sort it out.
Unless you're looking for comedy ones, in which case then dissolve two slices of bread in a cup of coffee and leave your finger in it to soak over night. Let us know how you get on... |

This is the one, Im pretty certain that nail varnish remover will sort it out.
Unless you're looking for comedy ones, in which case then dissolve two slices of bread in a cup of coffee and leave your finger in it to soak over night. Let us know how you get on... "
Oh yeah for sure. You're trying to make my finger all wrinkly like an old man who has spent all day in the swimming pool... Like the next posters scrotum! |

"I do this a lot. I don't know why, but Gorilla glue and I just don't work well together. I use an emery board to file it off skin, then **detergent soap**."

I dunno but I superglued my thumb and finger together with the tube in the middle a couple of years ago and posted a picture of Facebook, everyone thought I was pregnant and it was the test stick  |
