I think the main difference is that a dildo doesn't require physically turning inside out and washing, as opposed to wiping off. I guess, in all seriousness there has always been a touch of the seedy about male sex aids. |

Possibly because the concept of female masturbation is sexualised for viewing pleasure in porn, whereas in the male case its considered 'lonely and sad'.
