In brief and simply ..... We used to follow policy, want truth and honesty. We elected people or chose our friends by the qualities they upheld. Now the 'people' - politicians included - operate on emotion and lies. Society is riddled with this insincere bullshit exuded under the guise of 'caring' ....... e.g. B.G.T sob stories and the judges false shock horror and surprise faces. The fake news and clickbait tactics of Trump and others of his ilk.

Truth and honesty are open to interpretation.

We want the truth that suits us? Time and time again lawyers and accused provide honestly held opinions on facts, but the truth is only acceptable if it suits you, especially with those emotionally involved who lose sight of objectivity.

I admit, I'm a cynic and jaded. People with power abuse the truth.

The people in my experience who strive to be the most altruistic, truthful and honest, are those who seek very little recognition in life.

So young and yet so cynical. People with power have always abused it, we just have more ways to realise that today. The world has always been corrupt but again, the Internet exposes that more today.

Live with it or start changing things- change always begins with small steps. Just don’t complain and then expect others to do it for you... That’s my philosophy anyway.
