It’s been a while since I’ve revelled in a cheese appreciation thread.

I find it impossible to select a favourite, ever. All the cheese is magical (except the one that, I’m gonna guess PMF or YeOldeWitchDoc will name, can’t place a bet on which one is more likely).

So, not saying it’s necessarily your favourite, but which cheese (and with what or how presented) do you fancy right now?

I would like Cambozola splodged thickly on a chunk of crusty buttered bread. And a celery stick.

How about you?

Oh I love cheese so much! I developed a dairy allergy last year though which gives my huge weeping sores all over my face. No more cheese for me......

Grana Padano with freshly made fettucine cooked inside it a la The Cheese Wheel.

Or a selection of cheeses with banana chutney and crackers in bed with someone.

Ooooh nice!

Although I’ve never had banana chutney and I’m not sure how I feel about it. My mum used to make a curry with banana in when I was a kid and I detested it. I feel a little odd about banana in savoury things. I should work on this.

A house, a very big house in the country

A delicious mature cheddar cheese

One that's got a bite to it, a little sharpness along with a creamy aftertaste.

Preferably in a sandwich with pickle or chutney please

Ss.

Haha now that I must try.

See not very posh me. D*unken culinary delights. Very d*unken obviously, dairy lea triangles and custard creams. It’s portable, in fact you can take it in your bag for a mid evening snack.

I’m all for mid snacking

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

I'm still full from dinner, so no immediate cheese cravings.

Nothing sophisticated at the moment. I bought a new seeded sourdough loaf today with the intention of using it for Red Leicester on toast tomorrow. Although, my cheese of choice recently has been Edam. I don't know why but I keep fancying a chunk of Edam.

I want ALL the cheese

Apart from those stupid wispy cheeses like mild cheddar and processed mank.

I want a giant cheese board with all the cheeses - all the chutneys, celery, grapes and apple - all the biscuits/ crackers for cheese , breads and sliced raw veggies like carrots and cucumber and ..... salad cream

Under the Duvet

Went for a meal out near Dover years ago. The cheeseboard had 16 different cheeses on it, quite a few I'd never heard of before or since (think the landlord used to go over to France especially)and I worked my way through the lot.

I love cheese but it does send me a bit wappy, so factor in some red wine and by the end of the night I was virtually levitating.

Ah happy cheesy memories!
