Near Tunbridge Wells

I ventured in once but found too many views too toxic for my liking. It put me off my sex and that almost never happens.

I like Bertie, but I don't like Brexit.

I'll be honest, I voted for Brexit. I just wanted my country back. Back from where, I don't know. But I just wanted it back. But then I fell in love with F&B. I can't believe what I've done!

If there was a broken heart emoji I'd use it.

I’d like to see politics back in the main forums with a decent range of people interacting. Perhaps Brexit should be a separate section, but there’s more to politics than just that.

I'm off work and bored so I dipped a toe in yesterday (it was that or start a thread asking for boob pictures, with hindsight I made the wrong call!!!) and it's not for me. And I am someone that loves discussing politics and current affairs. It's awful, there seems little in the way of debate and no middle ground just the same old views from both sides.

What saddens me is that all political threads get moved there (though I understand why) and some that start as a quite healthy debate in the lounge end up there and just become another angry vitriolic thread and as a result I feel that the lounge has been dumbed down considerably to how it was pre-brexit

Utterly pointless. It's like trying to discuss options with a shopping trolley that has one wobbly wheel..

Den of Iniquity

Theres no give or take on either side of the fence , from leavers or remainers so it's a pointless conversation. I'm firmly in the " dont give a fuck either way any more " band

Definitely. I just want brexit done so we can move forward rather than exist in this dire divided society

No. It's not because I'm scared, it's because I'm passionate.

There are so many idiotic views floating around the world at the moment that I just can't be arsed arguing about it.

Also just want to throttle some people.

What G.K. said.

Although usually politics and fun in any form usually don't go together it seems there's not much in the way of personal animosity between posters which is a testament to the folks that contribute.

I'll just hang around in the public gallery for now though...lol

Yes. I would like it back to the lounge as well, as we would get alot more different views on a subject.

I for one am bloody glad they moved it. Some days the lounge was littered with politics threads and as i have no interest in politics it was hard to find stuff to post on

I try to read a few things in there but it becomes a bit like parliament, everyone shouting and nobody listening. Everyone has their own ideas about how a thing should be done and no-one ever wants to concede. Id join Ghengis in quietly throttling them all.

Not anymore. Politics consumes a lot of my life so I don't need it on here, too. Plus, in many cases it's like talking to someone who has scattered nails and broken glass over the floor, ridden their bike through it and doesn't understand why they've got a puncture. Or even worse, blamed the person with a funny accent who lives down the road.
